All About Love in February

Happy Monday! At the time of this post we have 46 entries in February's "All About Love" challenge. Thank you so much for all of your support!

As promised, here comes our second round of some beautiful masterpieces by the One Sweet Challenge Designers.

First in line is Annie’s beautiful mixed-media project. Annie’s pinks, teals, and greens are the perfect colors to offset Copia by Zoimar Lezama.

Designer Pauline has created a very beautiful vintage Mother’s Day card. Don’t you just love the lace and the pearl embellishments? Pauline’s project was created with is Conie Fong’s Mother and Baby Girl

Linda’s beautiful LOVE card and paper weight is the perfect gift. The amazing paper weight is a monoprint with silk flowers and pearl sprays for embellishments. Linda’s image is Karen Middleton’s Love Birds.

This next one is a mixed-media piece created by Bonnie. I love Bonnie’s mixed-media art because of all the colors and textures she seems to be able to incorporate to any image she uses. Bonnie’s piece was created with Norma J. Burnell’s Be Mine

I think that Conie Fong’s images were very popular this month. Debbie’s piece of art is using Bella with Rose by Conie Fong. Those delicate die cuts and beautiful flowers add to its splendor.

Sweet Pea Stamps Facebook group progressive challenge happens every two weeks. The first two weeks we have a call for projects using any Sweet Pea Stamps image that is available in the store. That theme is “anything goes.” Then those entries will receive a digital image FREE of charge, chosen by our leader and SPS store owner Lynette, for Part Two of the progressive challenge. With that FREE digital image you are asked to make a project and enter it in Part Two. Random.org will pick the winner of Part Two. That winner will receive another digital image of the winner’s choice from the SPS store. Even if you don’t enter our progressive challenge, we hope you will stop by for inspiration and share your Sweet Pea Stamps art.

Over at the Sweet Pea Stamps Designers blog there is Sweet Pea goodness happening every day. Need a little pick me up for your creative mojo, or sometimes to view a video, stop by, like I said, “every day.”

I hope you do enter our February One Sweet Challenge. Your entry should be posted in the page listed above and below our banner. Click here for that page.  If you do enter and you use an SPS image, please jump over to our Facebook group and share your talent with us all. You can always find events and sale coupons over at our Sweet Pea Stamps Facebook page. Don’t miss out.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed our second round of creative goodness from One Sweet Challenge Designers. They are all amazing!

February 2015 One Sweet Challenge

Welcome to February and to a brand new challenge here at Sweet Pea Stamps  (SPS) One Sweet Challenge. Before we even begin we need to announce the winner of January’s prize. I do know that some entries were not perfect for January’s theme, but we still appreciated your work. And the winner is Paper Whims!

Congratulations Wendy!! Please contact me at ajsdesigns at cox dot net for instructions about receiving your prize.

This is the month of February and it is the month for love. What better theme for our 2nd challenge of 2015 could you ask for than a theme of “All About Love?” We want to see anything you want to make, cards, ATCs, fat book pages, art journal pages, altered art, mixed-media, etc., BUT it must have a theme of “All About Love, “ any kind of love. One winning prize is a $10 gift coupon if the project was created with an SPS image. The other prize is $5 gift coupon if the project did not use an SPS image.

This will be our SPS’s One Sweet Challenge (OSC) Designers first time for their projects to be posted as OSC designers. Let’s get the inspiration going!

Annie has created such a darling easel card with Conie Fong’s Kissed by an Angel digital image. I love Annie’s use of the clock die and her embellishments are perfect for these two.
You can purchase this digi with or without wings.
This is image is also available as a rubber stamp.

Audrey’s Happy Valentine’s card was created with one of SPS’s newest artist, Janna Prosvirina. Audrey’s card uses Valentina and her colors, reds, pinks, with a little touch of turquoise, are perfect for this image.

Bonnie’s creation is a mixed-media piece with Follow Your Heart digital image by Helena Reis. Bonnie’s mixed-media pieces are always so inspiring. All her other designs are too.
Helena Reis's images are available as rubber stamps or digital images.

Debbie’s darling “All About Love” art card warms all our hearts with Karen Middleton’s Kitten Heart digital image. Debbie’s reds, pinks, and yellows are the perfect contrast for Kitten Heart. Karen Middleton's images are available in digital or rubber format.

Linda’s jewelry designing skills are showing with this little charmer. Linda created this necklace with Mother and Baby Boy rubber stamp by Conie Fong.

Pauline’s little piece of art was designed with the digital image First Kiss by Conie Fong. This image pops and does not get lost in Pauline’s embellishments, which are the perfect match for this cute image. You can purchase Conie Fong's images in digital format or as rubber stamps.
