We hope that everyone had a great weekend. To all of our
friends and fans in the United States, we also hope that you had a fantastic 4th
of July.
Before we get the July challenge started, we want to
announce the winner for our June “Dies and/or Punches” challenge. Thanks so
much for everyone’s continued support. We had 117 entries this time around.
The winner for the June 2015 SPS challenge is #41 Ginny. Ginny
has won one digital image of her choice for her beautiful project from Sweet
Pea Stamps online store. Thanks so much for entering and congratulations!
Please email me, Aletha, at ajsdesigns@cox.net
for your instructions on receiving your winnings. In the subject line please
state “June SPS Winner” please. Don’t forget your badge that can be found in
our right side bar.
Our theme for July is “Christmas in July.” If you are a
crafter or an artist, now is that time of the year that we all starting planning
for Christmas or the winter holidays.
Ready for some SPS inspiration? Let’s get started!
Linda’s
beautiful beveled glass ornament
Audrey’s exploding
box card using Heather
Valentin’s Rory’s Hot Cocoa.
Bonnie’s
mixed-media card using Little Angel Holding Star by Holly Harrison.
Debbie
could not be with us this time around due to surgery.
Wishing you well Debbie, and a speedy recovery.
Thanks so much to our amazing designers. Remember the third
Monday of July you will see more art work for the “Christmas in July”
challenge. I also want to remind you that our prizes are three digital images
if the winner uses an SPS image, or one digital image if the winner does not
use an SPS image. Can you give me one good reason why you would not want to use
an SPS image? This challenge will end on August 1. Use the page above for your entries or click here.
Did you know…?
In our Sweet Pea Stamps
Facebook group we have a progressive
challenge every two weeks. First, we have a call for projects using any Sweet Pea Stamps image that is
available in the store. That theme is “anything goes.” Then those entries will
receive a digital image FREE of charge, chosen by our leader and SPS store
owner Lynette, for Part Two of the progressive challenge. With that FREE
digital image you are asked to make a project and enter it in Part Two.
Random.org will pick the winner of Part Two. That winner will receive another
digital image of the winner’s choice from the SPS store. Even if you don’t
enter our progressive challenge, we hope you will stop by for inspiration and
share your Sweet Pea Stamps art.
The Sweet
Pea Stamps Designers blog showcases Sweet Pea goodness every day. Need a
little pick me up for your creative mojo, or sometimes to view a video, stop
by, like I said, “every day.” You can also find out the challenge blogs that
Sweet Pea Stamps are sponsoring. Here’s another chance to win more SPS
goodness.
Thanks for stopping by!
